    For Leaving Cert, I have chosen the following subjects:
    Irish (H)
    English (H)
    Maths (O)
    French (H)
    Economics (H)
    Biology (H)
    Geography (H)

    I want to keep my options open so I have decided to do at least 1 arts, 1 science, 1 business and 1 continental language. I submitted my subject choice form last Friday so I am really hoping I get all my choices.

    Wouldn't Geography be considered as Humanities whereas Music or Art would be Arts? :)

    Yes, I meant Geography. Some teachers in my school put it under that category along with subjects like History but I'm sure there are other names for it.

    and either Physics/Applied maths.

    Along with English, Irish and maths of course. ;) Our subject choice lines were all messed up so there was only going to be like 3 music students but our teacher got music switched to a different line so there's 10 of us now. :D And there's only two more business classes to do be done before I never have to do it again! (Well, I hope so anyway. :p)

    Is LCVP a subject in its own right?
    If I do LCVP do I only pick 3 subjects (besides English Irish Maths)

    LCVP
    Music (H)

    And I will do either Biology or Accouning not sure yet.

    I'm not 100% sure about LCVP, but in our school it's taken on as an additional 8th subject by people who are taking ordinary level maths. Higher level maths have 7 classes per week and ordinary level maths have 5 and two classes of LCVP. It could vary elsewhere though, I'm not sure.

    I will be doing the following;

    Business.
    Accounting.
    Geography.
    French.

    I hope to do LCVP also, and if not I may consider Ag. Science outside of school hours (the teacher runs classes after school has finished).
