Pressure variations in heating system

    Hi,

What's a normal level of pressure escaping to be expected in a heating system ? The attached picture shows the recorded pressure changes at my boiler over the last 6 months or so. I installed a new boiler last summer and the system was then pressurised also.

There seems to be a constant fall off rate of the pressure. I also converted all bar one of the rads to TRVs last summer and I do notice that they can be noisy at times - almost like a whistling kettle but not near as high pitch.

Are the TRVs the likely source of the pressure fall off or should I be looking elsewhere ? Is this rate of leakage something I need to be worried about ?

    thanks

is the pressure dropping and rising itself or are you filling it back up?

if you are not filling it up it is the pressure rising and dropping as the system heats and cools.
if you are filling it back up it is a leak and you will need to find/fix it
