How to recalibrate this controller ?

    Hi,

    The attached picture shows the thermostat I have for my heating. It's 4 degrees out. How does one go about recalibrating the controller to be correct ? Is it a DIY job ?

    Change it for one with an anticipator for accuracy. You will need to run a neutral to it though.

    there is usually a tiny screw on them that adjusts the switching point, possibly behind the dial or at the back.
    make sure to isolate the power before having a look for it though
