The purpose of RTE News Now?

I never really have understood the purpose of RTE news now. It's just recorded news most of the time and practically no live coverage unlike channels like sky news. Infact the whole thing seems to be recorded from news bulletins. Also Ireland's small population makes it kinda pointless, especially when you can watch news…

Live greyhound racing tonight! I thaught they could only broadcast news but i am not complaining as i enjoy the dogs

They broadcast the Derby semi-finals the same way back in September. Hopefully we will see more items like this.
