    Hey guys

Don't post here often or at all even. Just a quick question to be answered and I'm gone.

Well im a 19 year old student who finished a plc course today. Ive been looking for a job since januaray. With no luck in the last 3-4 months. My mother suggested i go on the dole till i hear something back. Im not lazy or anything just no luck with employment. Mom and dad work with my dad self employed and mother working in a school as an assistant.

So im just wondering would i even get anything at all? Like even a 100 to keep me going would be great!.

    Any advice would be great

    Thanks in Advance
    Speedy

" Like even a 100 to keep me going would be great!."

You'll be lucky to see 1/4 of that. under 25 living at home.

Sorry mate you will have to get your mother and fathers income details and because your dad is self-employed the likely hood of you getting anything is next to zero

    Regards

What exactly do you NEED money for, you have a roof over your head and food in your gut from yuor parents. Anything else is a luxury .. you want us taxpayers to pay for your smoke / drink?

    Hi OP,

I'd disregard all if the posts made here for starters and actually go in to your local office and make a claim. Nobody would bee able to tell how much/how little you would get based on the snippet of information you gave. They take into account your parents earnings but also how many school-going kids they have, as well as how much of a mortgage they have, if any. A few things are certain, the maximum payment you will receive is 100€, reduced by whatever means are deduced from your parents employment. Best of luck with the job-hunting.

    Disregard posts like the above.

OP, go to your local SWO, take all relevant details( parents payslips, proof of address etc) you might also need proof that you are finished your PLC Course.

if you want jobseekers you have to prove you were looking for work,so you will have to send in any rejection letters or print out any automated responses followed up by rejection letters

No probs. Also take a form of photo ID and a birth cert. SWO will tell you all you need and all you need to know anyway.
