There was a thread on this yesterday, there've been loads in the past - try the search function. A full body respray can vary in price from 1500-3000, and you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

    1. It's a lot of work to do it right.
    2. Ya get what ya pay for.
    3.Painters earn a fortune.(alledgedly:D)

that is a crazy way to spend money on a starlet tbh...

you do know to get it done properly it will cost more than the cars value.?

If it's a red car a deep buff could give it a bit of a lift, or lads are vinyl rapping them now it might be the way to go.

I just done my spoiler recently, it was off a diffrent car so was grey when I started, I needed white.

Here how I did it using spray paint. Sand down with wet sandpaper, use primer, sand again, primer again, sand again, first coat of paint and let dry, 30 minutes later next coat of paint let dry after 3 coats its time for the lacquer. About three coats of lacquer should do. Give it a few hours to dry and then wash and wax and your done.

Because of where I did it(outside) I did have problems wih insects landing on my paint work. Best to do in a well ventilated shed.
