    i just found this and was wondering is it worth any thing i know abs nothing about these kind of things i see its a pinnock sew-tic made in ireland

    The National Museum at Collins Barracks often have displays based on the 50s or 40s or whatever. They might like it for one of their temporary displays.

    Not worth much apart from curiosity.
    If it had been in a treadle operated table then it would be worth more.
    Pinnock were quite a good make although not as famous as Singer, Pfaff or Mauser. For sewing machines to valuable you need to be looking at pre 1920.

    i seen one on adverts going for 15euro but it was 1950's - 1960's Australian Pinnock sewing machine with case & foot pedal and this one is irish is there any difference cause they look the same

    Personally i think its quite a nice-looking peice of retro kitch...things like that have thier collectors and sometimes things like that are required for making television show,movies and ads.

    Your best bet might be to contact a props compnay and see if they will take it off you.

    American crafters love retro stuff like this. Some machines don't fetch very much but the threadle types do. One on Etsy is $675.00. I'm still kicking myself for dumping my mum's old one in the 80's.
