LARPers around Galway

    Hi everybody!
I'm a young belgian larper going on Erasmus to Galway (for a few months only) next year and I'm looking for rubber sword fighters to keep on practicing and having fun or just to have a contact there with a common addiction :) Plus, I thought it could be nice to meet larpers from a different country (I've been once to a british larp and happened to have a lot of fun despite the language barrier).
I'm staying from Septembre to Christmas so I don't know if there will be a lot of events. But I hope there will be ;)
I hope I'll have some answers!

Rubber sword stuff was never big in Galway, though I think there are still a couple of people doing it. There are more in the cork/Dublin areas.

@ Sarky : Alright, but Cork and Dublin seem a bit far to me :(
@ Sharrow : Thanks, I'll try to get in touch with these people asap!

And can you tell me wether larp events are planned from september to christmas?

    hi there,
I've lived in Galway City for the last 4 years, I've been trying to find info on LARP ut it seems there isn't really any organised group. If anyone knows of this let me know!
