    Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this, so please bear with me.... :)

I have old photography equipment here and wondering if anyone would know if it had value firstly and secondly how I would go about offloading it as a complete set hopefully or where might be interested.
I've attached files, so I hope they can be viewed ok and give enough information themselves as I don't know anything about them myself.

Thanks for all your help in advance.
    NB

That's kinda cool, it looks like a portable enlarger that packs away into the suitcase. It's kinda hard to tell how much it's actually worth, particularly without any details as to manufacturer and such. It's also a bit beat up looking which would affect any prospective resale value.

Ordinarily I'd say stick it up on EBay with good descriptive text and a pile of photographs, but I'd say it's fairly heavy as well so any prospective buyers outside of collection distance will be scared off by the probably postage costs.

Actually, just looking at EBay there, this one looks very similar if not identical to yours:
    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Russian-Portable-Spy-Film-Enlarger-Model-YNA-5M-cccp-with-Lens-Carry-Case-A-/200752042222?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ebdc110ee

Keep an eye on it and see how much it actually sells for and there's a rough guide as to how much yours is worth :)

Thank you so much DaireQuinlan! Firstly for your speedy reply and secondly for that link to the item on ebay! I didn't know where to start, now I have the name of the product, which sounds pretty cool - Russian Spy film lol and a rough price guide. I didn't have much hope for it when we came across it, now I'm interested to find out more about it :) Thank you so much!

ha; that's the exact same model of enlarger i first used in my late teens. it's still in my folks attic, i must dig it out someday.

i think calling it a 'spy film enlarger' is endowing it with more glamour than it deserves...

I know Magicb I had a good giggle at it myself. I would love as much info as possible about them though so when you do come across it in your attic and if there is a brochure/instruction booklet, I'd really appreciate it if you could upload some of the info from it (if you want/have time), and maybe I'll even use The Russian Spy Film Enlarger myself! :) When you come across stuff like that, it really makes the past come alive again doesn't it? Thanks for posting. NB
