Got the above notification twice today so far on my S2 running litening rom.

Anyone know why I'm getting the notification now all of a sudden? And what should I do.

I think it's possibly an airpush based ad that's being sent to your phone.

Try this airpush detector app to see if any programs you've installed recently are causing this! (Link)

I installed the app and the only application that showed up was "hydromedia" which I installed the other day. So I unstalled it. Hopefully that was causing the notification.

It shouldn't appear again anyway, as long as the app(s) that were causing it have been deleted! :)

I had it before myself, very annoying! Deleted the offending app straight away :pac:

    Careful of it.
I've seen what sounds like that in the last few days, and it's an sms spam driveby pretending to be a battery optimiser.

It keeps asking to install itself and one of the permissions it looks for is to send SMS messages. Sent me looking for the Turn off Unknown Sources button, but I believe it's been on the market a few times before, and deleted after complaints.

That kind of thing can build up quite a bill sending premium SMS's so take it seriously.
