We pay an au pair €80 per week plus, her own room + all expenses + flights if she stays over 6 months. Pretty much unless she goes out shopping for herself in the city then she doesn't have to put her hand in her pocket and usually our girls go home with good savings.

    700-1000 for a creche
35-60 euro a day for a registered childminder.(depending on hours)
For a childminder in your own home you need to pay minimum wage + their prsi.

We live in Bray and are looking at the same thing - would you update the thread if you find a good option?
