My son has been granted a reader for his junior certificate (dyslexia). Will he have a paper to read himself along with the reader?

I think the reader generally sits alongside them and reads from the same paper, but I will double check that this morning.

The school will arrange for your son to meet the reader in advance so he will be relaxed with them. He can ask for any section, sentence, instruction or piece to be read to him as many times as he wants.

Yep, the reader will just be sitting beside him.

They're just not allowed suggest important passages or inflect their voice in a telling manner ;) They read the material and the student can ask them to re-read bits they want to focus on then.
The guidelines are below, page seven.
