Removing VW Badge

    Hey,

I'm trying to remove the VW badge from the front of my Polo, the new model and I'm unsure as to whether I actually need to remove the grill itself to do it? It twists ever so slightly but its stiff as a rock. I tried to remove the grill but I believe there is meant to be 4 torx screws holding it on but I can only seem to find 2.

If anyone can shed some light i'd appreaciate it, it's very frustrating!

    Cheers!

remove the badge if you like but your never going to hide the fact that you bought a VW.:p

on a serious note, you may have trouble selling it on so do keep the badge somewhere safe as i hear they are costly to replace.

I don't get it , is the VW badge especially ' undesirable ' , seems strange to deface a car you own

Yea as focus_mad says I'm gonna carbon wrap mine but it's hard to get off! I gave up in the end, I'll try again another time.

On my car you can't see the back of the badge because of the mechanism for the bonnet, so I looked it up and it said remove the grille... Which I still couldn't do!
