2002 Chrysler Voyager: Warning light on console beside CD player.

The CD-player and radio in my 2002 Chrysler Voyager have recently stopped functioning and a warning light on the console to the right of the CD-player has lit up (see pic).
Does anyone know what this is supposed to indicate?
No mention of it in the user manual....
    Pic attached...

The little red light? I'd be sure its most likely a security light for the radio, i.e indicating that the radio code has been lost/lost power. Could be a light for a general radio fault.

Does anything happen at all when you try to turn it on?

    No, nothing at all....
The came on at the same time that the system stopped functioning.

Its indicates that the stereo or the wiring to it is knackered so I'd say.

I'm sure I read before that, in the US, these were recalled ages ago because of condensation from the AC damaging the radios. Could possibly be the case here.
