Stolen Photographic Equipment

    Saw this posted on facebook there a few minutes ago

    "Hi all I had my photographic equipment stolen yesterday from the McDonalds on Grafton Street, the equipment included
    Canon Mark 2n no. 405466
    CANON 5D MK2 - 0430201248
    Canon lens 24-70mm no. 655456
    Canon lens 17-40 mm no. 191845
    Canon lens 70-200mm no. 076619
    Canon speedlite 580 ex flash no.259393
    Canon speedlite 580 ex2 flash no. 244366

    It's not mine, but if everyone could keep an eye out on adverts and the like that would hopefully do some help. This was posted 6 hours ago so that makes the "yesterday" he refers to 1/5/12. If you have any information his name is Gareth Chaney. I wish him the best of luck getting it all back but lets just hope it was insured.

    the more that know about it the higher the chances of finding the gear ...its a good thing !

    Ouch. All that gear.

    Happens all the time in the city centre too. Never let your bag out of your sight.

    Will keep an eye out online, but it won't appear there. Pawn shops and second hand camera shops are the ones he needs to watch for. If I were him I'd head into Camera Exchange/John Gunn's etc asap and ask them to keep an eye out for it.
