    He's been hanging around here the last couple of days, looks really lost and I kinda get the impression he was "let go". Anyway if I'm wrong send me a PM.

    Have you called the local Warden. That could well be the first place the owner goes to or has gone too....

    Not taking the chance he'll be put down within a week. He's wandering a bit so next time he settles I'll get onto the dog rescue.

    The Warden is the first point of call for anybody trying to find a lost dog. Contact him as soon as possible. I did it 3 times in the past 5 years and each time the owners got the dog back and were delighted.
