yamaha raptor 660 problems

    i have a raptor 660 tryed everything to start it theres petrol going into air box it starts when pulled but wont stay going and dosent respont to trottle i cleaned the carbs and cancelled all the sensors park break and reverse it has a spark and its getting petrol but wont stay running anyone have any idea what might be the problem id love to here from ye thanks

    Sounds like either the floats are sticking or the fuel tap seals are gone.

    Easy start is your friend, i found it helped with bikes and karts with similar problems and kept it running enough to keep the carb sucking the fuel. Has it not been started for a while?

    Take the airbox off, and see is it worse or better.

    its starting overfueling wouldnt rev up and today toeing it engine getting hot and burning fuel but still wont drive

    What do you know....so it does. Hmmm grey area so:D

    its a motor with four wheels and its in motors so seemed like a good place to put this and theres people posting comments with possible problems so all good id say cheers anyway good man

    Stop towing it up and down the road, its not a tractor!
    If its not ****ed now it soon will be!

    Did you try any of the ideas posted here?

    Single cylinder quads are simple, its not difficult to diagnose problems but you need to be methodical!

    ill try that no it hasent been started in months i took the carbs apart the seem ta be free

    what else can i do i have most of the sensors isolated its not like most raptors that have a button to push and the quad turns over and starts and a dash on the handle bars all them tings are gone its old its 01 or 02 and previous owner done a hole lot of messing with the wires i have it all back as write as i can see from a diagrame i got on the internet

    what is the story with toeing like u said man it isnt a tractor what damage could i do to the quad by toeing it
