    The seller obviously doesn't if he think's that it's a 2.7 V6....

Whats with the weird magazine shots in the ad?

    Weird...

Strange ad. The bit about 'one owner' is almost certainly a lie, given that one of the pics shows the car on UK plates, it's now Dublin registered, and the seller lives in Cork. The reference to it having a V6 implies an owner with no eye for detail. Two of the pics are of different cars altogether. There's reference to (and a photo of) the tyres, and yet they look nowhere near new to me. I'd be very thorough with the checks on that car.

Unless of course it was owned by the same owner in the UK and brought over?

Looks like it was an import maybe from the north - 4th photo appears to have a northern reg (definitely not the D reg!) and cars in the background all on yellow plates.

i think that there are a couple of pics of his own car and then a few more photos from the internet, i dont think its intended to mislead but id need to check obviously!

If you got it for 14k, a fine motor says me. Unless from below it has seen a lamp post etc in its travels.

It's possible, but very unlikely. That ad smells of cat C or D damaged repaired to me.

Good point would explain the lower mileage, lower price, not too many pictures...

I can't quite explain - it's a mixture of intuition and the things I pointed out earlier about the ad. Sure run an HPI check and see what comes back - make sure to give all the details, as that car could have had several different UK registrations.

They look to me like official press photos from Porsche themselves. I suppose there's a certain logic to it, if they're whats used to initially market the car, why not use them for resale? :D
