Heading in to Aston and Tango's on Saturday with the brother who is home from Scotland for the weekend. Want to make the most of it so are there any other places worth a visit while we are in the city centre?

    Thanks

Found Aston's in Temple Bar to be comically expensive (link to old thread on this subject with ideas). There's a total disconnect at management level there.

To be honest Aston Formal Wear may work out a little more expensive but the service is (for us) worth it. My fiancé had a terrible experience with Dublin Formal Wear and wouldn't have hired a suit from them if it was free as a result.

Do you definitely want to rent? If you're considering buying Louis Copeland would be another place to check out, not cheap though

Tbh, the price I was quoted in Aston was pretty much what I'd been quoted in the 4 other shops I went to, including Dublin Formal Wear. They were all around 130 per suit, give or take a couple of quid either way. I went with Tangos in the end because of the quality of both the service and the suits.

Bond brothers, if you're prepared to take a 20 min bus ride out to Clonskeagh (15 minutes up the road from Ranelagh). I found them to have the most competitive prices. Prepared to negotiate anyway.
