Is it possible to be homeschooled for your Junior Cert? I am aware you can sit your Leaving Cert as an external candidate. I was told today that a girl in my locality is being homeschooled for her Junior Cert, was just wondering if it was even possible! :)

Yes you can be homeschooled for primary or secondary.
There are arrangements made by the Department for people in certain circumstances which mean they cannot attend a school, or some parents decide to do it themselves.
The Department would then check that the curriculum/teaching is acceptable.
