fly reel repairs

    Anyone know if there is any where in the Northeast doing fly reel repairs? Have a pretty old wooden reel and a 1960's reel that both have the same problem, the main spool comes loose on the central shaft.

    Sounds like a simple enough repair. You might just need a bushing on the shaft. If you haven't got something to fit, you could try a bicycle repair shop or a friendly mechanic.
