    Mark Christie 13.37 for 5k
    Joe Sweeney 28.45 for 10k
    Cragg DNF for 10k

I thought Cragg might break the national record last night

    Not to forget Fionnuala Britton!

31:29.22 to get the A qualifying time for the 10,000.

I had convinced myself that Cragg had given up on DNF's. Wonder what happened. It's a shame as there aren't many opportunities to nail a 10000m standard. He should be achieving it really.

That time also makes her the 4th fastest Irish woman over 10,000 metres....just half a second behind the 3rd fastest.

Video clip of the womens 10,000m race in this post...(Fionnuala is wearing a dark red top with purple shorts)

Alistair Cragg was doing well going through the 5k mark in 4th place in around 13:50. He faded with 9 laps to go.....video in post here.....Cragg is in the orange top

(Note...both clips are over 30 mins long)

I think cragg has the physical capacity, the only other variable left is the mental component. He seems to fold completely when hes surrounded by world class opposition so it seems like theres a belief at work there that could be sabotaging him and hes not even aware of it. I mean maybe the problems not psychological, but I think it would be worth investigating at the very least.
