Playstation bought from game randomly shutting off.

    I bought a second hand ps3 a while ago from game and it keeps shutting down with no light afterwards. I read on another forum that it a sign of a faulty PSU but since game's shut down it's Irish stores I have no idea what to do to get a replacement. I still have my receipt. Do I try and bring it up to northern Ireland and ask for a replacement or do I ring up the UK customer support?

    EDIT:Read it can be caused by a dodgy power cable so trying that now.

    Nope, changed the cable and still the same problem.

    I the belfast store is the only ones that's left. Not looking forward to lugging it up there if that's the only option.
