    hi,
this is the house plans we are almost definitely going with, but with a few exceptions....
    1. we are adding 1.5m single storey extension with 2 skylights to kitchen and changing orientation of kitchen to face that end. the double doors will be where the window is on the side wall
2.we are making the walk in wardrobe larger upstairs and putting the hot press where the shower is in the main bathroom

    edit:

    THOSE PLANS ARE COPYRIGHTED>

    has anyone any other ideas?

we were toying with the idea of not having the downstaits bathroom where it is, therefore making the study bigger and puttitng the bathroom at the end of the hall with the downstairs bedroom...but are not sure.

how about indicating its proposed orientation (as in, where's south?). its best to try and design the majority of the habitable rooms to face south (with exceptions for views etc) - trying to comment on a generic set of plans is difficult

you're required under the part M of the building regulations to have a disabled WC on the ground floor

if the proposed is in a rural location, you may want to consider your councils planning guidelines

if your interested in energy conservation, you may want to look at the passive house standard

and if you want advice on building design why not go to a local architect.

    best of luck
