Massive game for both teams as both need a win for very differing reasons!

Comfortable for Spurs. 2 or 3 nil.

    Blackburn all the way baby

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,366 ✭✭✭✭Kylo Ren

    Lennon should of scored that.

Hoping for a Blackburn win as I want Newcastle to get fourth.

Put some of my winnings on Yakubu to score 2 or more. 17/1. Think it might be one too far though :pac:

Is it possible for both teams to lose? I want Steve Kean to be relegated and Wigan to stay up, so a Tottenham win helps.

But I want Tottenham to be put back into the Europa League after their derisory attitude to it this season, so anything but a Tottenham win helps.

    Decisions decisions:)

    Blackburn playing 7-2-1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

You'd think Blackburn were comfortably mid-table the way they're playing at the minute. They do know they desperately need a win, don't they?

    Strange team alright

    half time 1nil

    COYS

some more of the same in 2nd half please with some shots on target YID Army!

Shocking from Blackburn. Shocking from Kean, felt the need to keep the same team just because they beat Norwich.

Dunn, Formica and Pedersen are all too slow to be all playing together against what must be the fastest team in the league.

Add that to the fact that Hoilett, the one with most pace is up against Rose or Walker most of the time, and so his pace is neutralised.

If the Spurs goal was on the half way line Blackburn still wouldn't have a shot on target.

I can barely watch this crap, Blackburn have nothing to defend, and yet since kick off they have been trying to defend it. It is laughable and highly embarrassing.

And people claim Kean didn't deserve the protests etc? The man is a coward.

Spurs have been pretty embarassing too to be fair, so many poor touches. You can see why they've dropped so many points recently against teams who can actually put it up to them.

Crowd turning on Spurs. Blackburn truly awful.

    Yakubu off?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,190 ✭✭✭✭IvySlayer

    Yak off?

Well done Kean, looks like Modeste is coming on, the best thing he has done for Blackburn so far was getting sent off.

Crazy from Kean, system remains the same, a big blue error screen dominates it!

    BELTER!

Was nice of Dunn to duck his head out of the way for walker and not block it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,927 ✭✭✭Sugarlumps

    Stunner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33,952 ✭✭✭✭CSF

Kean shouldn't get another job in football, have never understood why he got so much sympathy in the first place.

Surely a candidate for the most limp-wristed, half-arsed attempt by a team looking to stave off relegation.

    Yakubu off 1-0 down:eek:

    Is it not getting cancelled?

Shocking lack of drive or ambition from Blackburn. On this performance they deserve to go down.

    A contender?

It is no contest. Can't wait to hear what Kean has to say about it.

Kean going for it, Goodwillie on for Dunn.

Yeah it is but surely someone will buy the rights to it.

They're not even making tackles or closing down, never mind attacking. I genuinely can't think of a team in the past two decades who still had it in their own hands this close and against a team not in form to basically not bother.

Surely that's Blackburn done for then?

    Also lol at this headline

"Blackburn boss Steve Kean claims he has identified weakness in the Tottenham Hotspur side which Rovers can exploit on Sunday."

If ever there was a team that could have done with a change of manager to give them some hope, it was Blackburn, the man is not a football manager, merely a comedy act.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 38,247 ✭✭✭✭Guy:Incognito

You'd have to question the sanity of some Blackburn fans, (presumably) travelling all the way from Blackburn to London for a game that was most likely end in defeat and make relegation a near banker on a Sunday afternoon.

Spineless performance today, do they know they are in a relegation battle Blackburn?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 11,631 ✭✭✭✭Hank Scorpio

Really have to blame the owners, Kean is a horrible manager by all accounts but he was appointed by them, why should he resign and miss out on a big payout
