Anyone know:

What kind of wages a junior buyer gets
Is their job mainly merchandising related
If I had an interview for a position AS junior buyer - what should I be preparing (considering a total lack of experience)

It depends on the sector and turnover etc. fashion retail would involve merchandising standards, delivery times, margin, stock levels, sales to space. As a junior buyer of a multi store fashion chain, i would presume you'd start on 30,000e. Expect alot of extra work on the weekends.

Hmmm, that's about what I was expecting alright! The wages are a lot more than I was expecting tho -I know that that's just a general number

Any idea where I can do a little research on buyers and jnr buyers?

Any retail manager would have dealt with them. The figure i said would have been around 2008 and the junior buyers i dealt with were constantly contactable!
