    Lovely kit

Really think so? My initial reaction was it looks revolting.

Ya never liked Leicester jerseys before that!

It's the most rotten Leicester jersey.

Not gone on Nike rugby jerseys. Apart from the Toulouse ones.

Are any of the provinces changing kits this season?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,761 ✭✭✭✭Winters

I noticed the away Argentina jersey in the Junior Championships which was the reverse and looked nice but I didnt expect them to change the home jersey so drastically - pity they have done away with the hoops.

Like the Leicester and Argie ones. Newcastle ones are always so boring.

    leicester one is quite nice

Argie one is great. Simple and without looking dated. Tigers one looks like a kids Hallowenen costume. Can't imagine many beer guzzling rugby fans strolling around wearing tiger stripes. That said, I couldn't imagine many walking around wearing a Leinster jersey plastered in unicorn jizz last year but it happened. Thank God that jersey is gone.

    I quite like that one.

The Leicester one hurts my eyes and the Falcons jersey is just boring.

www.rugbystore.co.uk have a few of the new leinster off field and training kit, would assume there's a new away shirt too but the home jersey will be the same for next season

    Well, there'll be a new star. ;)

Also I really like the Leicester one. Sorry. :)

cant believe so many people splash out on these things. the polyester material used on them all for the past few years is horrible. i really think you cant beat a simple cotton tee for training-gym.
fair enough the playerfit ones for contact training but 90 quid is steep

    Horrible jersey too.

They'd want to decrease the size of that VW emblem, it completely dominates the jersey.

I like the Leicester one, the Tiger pattern is a nice touch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29 Stillorganboy

    These jerseys are very expensive

The old Toulon jerseys sponsored by Invicta were badass, these are rotten.

I like the Leicester one in the sense that it's flashy and makes them look like the Tigers, but it isn't Leicester. The old kit was so much more fitting. Just looking at the jerseys made you think you were going to be run over, not to mention the sponsor fit in with the old jersey better and actually added to the image. It's out of place in the new one. The size of the VW on the Toulon jersey is ridiculous.

The Stade jerseys in the past were beautiful(like this or this) with all the designs and faces on them but this one just looks like they ran out of ideas and just threw some black on the sides.Horrible.

I've hated all the Stade jerseys since the ones with the lightning Bolts. Those were class. Should've never changed.

the only stad ones i really loved were this
    New-Stade-Francais-Shirt-2011.jpg

    and this one
    O59368.jpg

as an aside, while I'm not too impressed with the new Leicster jersey, it's still miles better than the pig ugly one they played in this year...

I like that new stade one.

According to Connacht's and Ulster's twitter, both teams will be revealing new kits. Ulster will reveal theirs in Ulster.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 18,266 Mod ✭✭✭✭CatFromHue

I can't remember the last time I saw a jersey and thought I liked it. Some have grown on me but most are rubbish.

Bah Humbug that's what I say!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 741 ✭✭✭damianmcr

Ulster posted on twitter on Saturday that Bowe was at Ravenhill with the new shirt and it will be released this week.

    Pictures that is.

not a fan of stad ones at all, way to much in your face style

I did like the cartoon Ulster jersey that came out. Well the kid in me liked it. Look forward to seeing new Ulster range.

Will Leinster release a new kit?

No. Leinster release a new home kit every second season. So nothing new in terms of home kit this year. I reckon the alt. away jersey will stay the same also - but with an extra star.

They'll probably ditch the alternative 3rd jersey tho... as no one warmed to that, and I felt bad for the A lads having to wear it also.

There's a new training jersey, which would make a lovely 3rd jersey if they use it.

I would buy that for sure. Very much like the 2011 HEC jersey which was popular enough. My favourite anyways.

Where can that be bought, I suppose will have to wait a little for this to be released!

And only there for now. Canterbury.com have silly delivery charges so I'd hang on until it's in the Leinster Shop or elsewhere.

Is this a brand new training jersey? Any idea how long it might take the Leinster store to get it?

So it's an updated HEC jersey from the 10/11 season so? Nice. I still love this training jersey though...pretty much the same but with a dark navy bottom half.

Does the shade of blue look a bit turquoise to anyone else? I'll have to see it in person.

The Leinster Store has it at the moment on-line so I'm assuming it can be got in Donnybrook at least.

Officially it's the Supporter's jersey, whatever that actually means. I got one for the young fella for his birthday last year and he absolutely loved it. Certainly stands out. Very high quality gear too.
