    Budget: 700-800 euro

    Intended use: Auto Cad and other drawing/planing programs also gaming

    Mobility: Must be a 17inch screen

    Warranty: Standard is fine
    What Operating System do you use? Windows

    Looking for a bit of help,friend of mine is a draughtsman who needs a new laptop,there could be a little wiggle room on the budget but idealy the 700-800 band or cheaper.He is into gaming so it would have to have a dedicated graphics card, and the 17" screen.Anyone any ideas or recommendations???

    17.3", Core i5, 8 GB RAM, Radeon HD7670M (2 GB) for €689 at komplett.

    AutoCAD isn't very demanding, and the new 7670M compares to the GT 555M, which isn't too shabby for a 17" laptop under 700 yoyos.

    He said he could wait off a little while, with the newer processors would it be worth waiting a while so the current generation's prices will come down?
