Starting Internship - But Stamps Almost Finished

    Hi,

I am currently claiming JSB having full stamps, which as best I can figure from my records I started claiming on 23rd of May, 2011.

I just got great news today that a company I applied to for a Job Bridge Internship have accepted me. The only thing is, they say my start date will most likely be 21st May.

I know from reading about the Internships I will get €50 (which probably won't even cover my fuel) on top of my Social Welfare payment, that's fine, its the experience, new skills and maybe even possibility of a full time job that's the important thing.
However Because my JSB is due to run out I wanted to find out if anyone knows how this might work out for me as the dates are so close? ie started claim on 23rd may last year, due to start internship on 21st of May this year?

I was so delighted to get the news of the Internship but when I got over my excitement and thought about it, I would just about manage if I am allowed to keep my full JSB rate but otherwise I just couldn't afford the extra cost of the fuel to get there if on a lower rate.

Any response from anyone who had a similar situation or someone who is knowledgeable on SW would really be appreciated.
