Looking for Free Banking..

Because of the bank charges NIB are introducing on my Freebank account, I am looking to switch banks to get free banking and Ulster Bank looks like the only option.

Does anyone know the different between the Step Account and the Standard Current Account? The online application lists them both and I can't see any obvious difference between them.

    thanks

As far as I can tell, the Step Account doesn't have overdraft or cheque book facilities, whereas the Standard account does. I don't think there are any other differences, but hopefully someone else will chime in if there are.
