Well, I suppose an 'entertainment' show should have some actually entertaining content after all :)

Watch out for the confused look on Steven Gerrard's face as Tubridy asks him about team mates Packie Bonner and Brian O'Driscoll...

Can't see Mr. T as an avid football interviewer and asking any hard questions about Daglish, Suarez/Evra etc ya di ya....

Does SG have a new book out?

They should get Eamon Dunphy to interview Gerrard instead of Tubs.....that would be TV gold.

Maybe Gerrard will ask about Tubs relationships with Irish Gangsters, ie Fianna Fail!!!

Nope, nothing there to interest me, again. This really has been one of the poorest seasons ever. The powers that be really need to think long and hard about next season.

The living legend that is Steven Gerard will be explaining to Tubbs how Liverpool, the greatest club in the history of everything, have come through a slight rough patch in recent times, but have done so with the typical grace and dignity associated with both players and supporters of the great club.

He will then outline how the mighty Liverpool will dominate the Premier League in the years to come, beginning next season.

I hope Tubridy can handle this. Its not often he is in the presence of such greatness.

Marina and The Diamonds isn't a band. Marina is the girls name and "The Diamonds" are her fans.

I agree with everything .... well if you changed this "liverpool" craic to the true champions the mighty MANCHESTER UNITED .... you must be doting thinking it was liverpool :)

C list bottom scraping effort from TLL show team. Steven Gerard only saving grace.

Serioulsy wonder whart they are at. Im not just whinging, i watch it pretty much every week and i think they are banking on most people turning on regardles of who they have on the show.

If this is the calibre of guest im not going to bother my hole. Ive no notion of sitting like a zombie week after week, if it wasint for this thread i'd have zoned out ages ago.

Am i just being an old fart reminiscing about the good auld days when it was worth watching? Or is it getting progressively worse?

Facebook, iTunes, Wikipedia, Myspace, Youtube and the official website go with 'Marina and the Diamonds' as being the band/singer/act 's name, so we will stick with that :)

Also dropping in will be Liverpool Comedian John Bishop. He used to be a regular guest on 'The Panel' before he made it big in the UK. He had his own series on BBC1 recently.

Ardal O'Hanlon is also on the show.

Maybe he'll ask Gerrard about his chances of qualifying for the UK Olympic diving team.

He has had enough practice over the years

3 pages on the thread already with some of my input... (and you can see how the thread suffers :pac: )

I think that's a great lineup.. Another Liverpool fan btw, cant believe they got Gerrard on.. I thought Skid was taking the p1ss when I first read it.. Another good show in spite of Tubridy... Huuraaaahhhh..

Oh ye of little faith, Jonathan ... I also have my Liverpool kit washed and ironed, ready for Stevie G's interview tomorrow (Even though it has already been recorded.)

There are have been a few pre-records this year, good to see them making an effort to land a few decent guests (who would not have been available on the Friday Night)

Ha ha.. I'm having trouble picturing the interview in my head... I mean Gerrard wouldnt be the animated of characters.. If you add that to the dullest presenter in the world, it could be a complete borefest, especially given that Tubridy has zero knowledge about sport and seems to put in little effort finding out about his sports guests..

Kym Marsh and lottie Ryan bore me to tears.

Heard john bishop on with tony fenton today, I thought that there was some silly broadcasting rule that no guest could be interviewed elsewhere on the day of LLS appearance.

Sadly, I called this just before 'The Real Thing' had it's way with Gerry.

Utter disgrace that this person gets not only work on our coin but a late late spot. At least the big head on it is good for a chortle.
Really is disgraceful...just waiting on the new Twink to vomit onto our screens.

Says a lot about the LLS when a pre-taped interview with an overrated footballer with with no personality and the forehead of a neanderthal is the main attraction of the night.

I don't think Stevie G is overrated, he is a great footballer. It's not the first time an interview was pre-recorded.

You have to give it to RTE they really look after there own. Her younger sister has started to pop up in the media too so expect a job in RTE for her too.

I am a Liverpool supporter but I reckon that Steven Gerrard has the personality of a wet mop. He has nothing to say for himself. It will be torturous television. I hope Tubs asks him about Southport wine bars.

And for the biggie what's the Betting that lorna byrne won't be able to contact mr. gerry Ryan or anybody else for that matter,,,,,:D

    Tubbs: So the football eh?
    Gerrard: Aye.
    Tubbs: Nice. Irish family?

Tubbs: So Kym *stares at boobs*....Irish in the family?

Tubbs: Sure you're the spit of your father!
    Lottie: Thank's Ryan *Snorts/giggles*.
Tubbs: Sure you're a broadcaster in your own right.
    Lottie: Yes, I am.
    Tubbs: Sure you're only great.
Lottie: Thanks Ryan. Will I see you in the green room?
Tubbs: Sure'n ya will! Save me a line! *laughs*
    Lottie: *snorts/laughs*

Great TV. Well worth all our money to insure Lottie gets all the fake tan she needs. Bless.
