    Hi,

Over dinner with an old friend I mentioned the litres of old chemicals I have from last year, and he asked if I'd been doing any silver recovery. No was my short answer.

Has anyone here done it? Is it worthwhile?

    Aidan

cam shops used to pay people to give their chems away. With the price of silver going up so much cam shops are now charging companies to take their chems away for the silver extraction! Thats what I was told my my former local cam shop in London last year anyway.

Guy in the Camera Exchange on George's Street told me on Saturday that all their chemicals are sent back to Kodak to recover the silver :)
