    Hi all,

sadly the beginning of the cut backs has started and my hours have been 'austeritied' to the tune of 6 hours next year.

Unfortunately my laptop which had my CV on it died and I need to draft a new one.

Does anyone have an good templates and samples or a link to a site which does.

    Thanks in advance

I'm not going to send you my CV but the general lay-out (if that's all your looking for) is:
    Cover Letter
Contact Details: to include email and phone number
Previous Teaching Experience by school: line 1: Name of School and contract, proceeding lines to include JC & LC levels taught/ LCA/Transition year etc, extra responsibilities (i.e class tutor).
Qualifications and results: Year awarded, College, BA/PGDipEd, Results.
Professional Development: In-services attended, venues, dates and content.
Interests and Acheivements: All of course relating back to teaching skills and extra-curricular activity in schools ;)
    Referees.

Hope this helps. I worked off a big CV book my sister had when I first started teaching so I don't know how typical it is. I've never had any difficulty getting interviews and jobs when I find ones to apply to though, so it seems to do the trick.

All the best of luck! Dreading the annual job-hunt this year. Really feel too old for this. See you on the interview circuit! :D
