Rewind motor

    Hi All,
    Just wondering if anyone has got a motor rewound recently.

    I have a 3 phase two speed motor thats burnt out, its not a big motor maybe 1.5kw.

    What should it cost to rewind, anybody got a recommendation. Could send it anywhere really.

    Avonmore Electrical based outside Mallow, Co. Cork specialise in rewinds. I don't have an idea of prices though

    I was in Avonmore Electrical today with a 30KVa 3phase alternator, and they said it was too small to be worth doing. Also phoned ERS in Limerick, they said anything up to 200KVa isn't worth rewinding due to cheap Chinese imports. Hard to believe.
