Application letter for hunting club

Just got the grant letter and have been ringing around to try and find a hunting club near me. Got a number and gave the guy a ring. Seemed pleasant enough and asked me to write a quick application letter. I was just wondering what type of things I should include?

You can elaborate on this but something along the lines of;

I "insert name" am applying for membership to "X gun club".

I am "X" years old, and have been shooting for "X" years. I have a number of friends and family in the area and have a good relationship with many landonwers, and farmers in the area.

I have lived in "area name" for "X" years. I am a keen, and avid hunter with "X years experience in shooting both shotgun, and rifle. I am available to help the club in vermin control, and any breeding program currently being run. I would also dedicate as much free time as possible to the upkeep of club lands whenever it is needed.

I can provide character references from both land owners, and fellow hunters (add names of lads in the club if you know some) if required.

I look forward to a favorable response and am available at any time to discuss my application further.
