Hi all, I'd like to get something like a rifle to plink out the backyard. I would like to keep it as cheap and easy as possible so I don't want to be using gas or batterys.

Can anyone recommend one please? I've looked on a few sites but i just cant tell what they are like, I am not sure of the price ranges involved, but I would consider 40€ -€70, €80 at a push but it would have to be a bargain at that price as money is a bit tight.

Thanks in advance for your replys...

Hows the going fella, well by your thread Im assuming your just looking for a spring powered rifle and to be honest your looking at a good 130+ euros and even at that these rifles would be the lower end of the quality scale but none the less a good starter rifles.

Failing that your next option is a spring powered shotgun and again budgeting so low means the quality would not be as good as other more expensive brands.

Id try to raise your budget if you can, start saving and buy yourself a good quality one, also check out airsoft adverts you might get lucky and pick up something decent.

Yes I'm looking for a spring powered one, but the main reason is just for shooting it out my back garden, I wouldn't be using it on sites so thats why I was reluctant to spend that type of money on something I will only use once and a while.
I think your right I'll keep my eyes on adverts and hope something comes along, thanks for the reply.

It all depends on what you're after, and having realistic expectations of whatever it is you are buying.

You can buy spring powered rifles for €40 - 60, and they look the part, but they only fire at 0.4j or so, and will only go approximately 10-15 meters. If you're alright with that, then they're perfect for you. If you're not, you need to keep saving. There are multi-shot shotguns (3 shots at a time) for around €80 that are skirmishable, and far more effective than the springer rifles.

Otherwise, hang off and save up a good bit longer until you've got enough for a decent rifle :)

Check out taiwangun.com,a polish site, just got a cyma ak47 as a backup/LMG project for €100, including shipping spring and downgrade. Quality is ok for €100
