    Hi all,

I have an appitude test with Virtu on Friday for an Assistant Trader position. Has anyone any information on possible questions or has anyone taken the test before? All the information I can get is that there are 63 questions and I need to answer 50 correctly to pass.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I know somoene who went for a similar role with Sig Trading. Most the questions were maths based, so given a situation and you have to work out the probability of a particular event occuring. There were also financial questions like the definition of an option and who is the head of the US Federal Reserve.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I have gone through the process with sig myself but I believe this may be different. With Sig I had unlimited time to answer 5-8 questions(took about half an hour), however with Virtu I have to answer all the questions(or as many as I can) in a half hour. Seems to me that it couldn't be the same questions based on the time allowed for both. Could have some definitions though I'll do some study on that.

    Cheers for the info.

Has anyone taken this test and could you share some of the questions that were given. I am a recruiter and have a candidate that takes the test next week.

    Thank you

    Hi,
I have an aptitude test for Virtu in Dublin this Thursday. I was hoping to get a little indication of what to expect? As the agency I got the opportunity from aren't forthcoming when it comes to such info.
You don't have to give me specifics. I guess some clues would be helpful rather than being left totally in the dark.

Doing one soon too but 63 questions in 30 minutes?! That sounds seriously tough.
