    Anyone else doing this?

Between 2 minds. It's near and info says course is 'fast and accurate'. Not sure if it ends on the Riocht running track.

On the other hand, would like to get in a 18-20 mile lsr over the weekend too.

Anyone know how flat is the route?

You've probably seen the above anyway but the stretch from town outward along the Limerick Road is a nice long pull of about 1.5 - 2 miles, not a massive gradient but an incline none the less. There is a nice downhill section all down along the bypass for 2 miles after that to make up for any time lost. Relatively flat otherwise I'd imagine.

Gonna have a crack myself, slightly disruptive to the Cork training but can't resist a local race!

Can't get any info about ending on the track, had thought I saw that on some flyer or other.

I guess its not or they would have put it down on the advertising blurb. Would have thought it would be an obvious attraction, maybe they don't like the thought of hundreds running on the track but...

Well impressed with this race yesterday... Nice course, 2 trips through the town itself, bit of a battle into the wind and the hill out to the golf club but the nice stretch down the bypass more than made up for it! Nice top and two track/gym passes in the goodie bag. Not sure if a medal is necessary for finishing a 10 miler. Couldn't stick around for the afters unfortunately. Despite the small crowd, in comparison to Dungarvan and Mallow, I'd recommend pencilling this in for next year. Thumbs up to Riocht AC!
