Hi. I have just started a coopers stout. I am new to brewing. What is the best way to prime it when it comes to bottling time. Thanks in advance.

The best way is to batch prime using a separate fermenter as a bottling bucket. Sanitise it, calculate the amount of sugar you need, boil it for five minutes in a small amount of water and add to the bottling bucket, siphon the beer in on top of that, then put it into the bottles. There's a full illustrated guide to the process here.

If you don't have a bottling bucket, half a teaspoon of sugar in each half-litre bottle will get you there.
