Just came accross this on RTE.ie that a female cyclist was killed this evening on the Bandon road in Cork.

Thoughts are with the families involved. No further details on RTE as yet.

Really awful news, I was out that way myself today, its what I would have considered to be one of the safer roads, i.e. wide hard shoulder. Such a waste, my thought are with her family & friends, RIP
