Spurs have been in meltdown with only 2 wins in their last 10 games. If they can win this, they can move back into 4th on goal difference. If QPR can win this, they put some distance between themselves and the bottom 3.

    Come on QPR!!!

    Both Adebayor and Saha injured?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Hopefully QPR put on a similar display as when they played Arsenal. Vermaelen really struggled against Zamora that day and I really hope the QPR forward puts King and Gallas under similar pressure.

Adebayor is definitely injured, Saha missed last week with a groin strain, must be the same this week.

Also, this is Brad Friedal's 300th consecutive league game, phenomenol. Congrats to him.

    Brilliant :pac:

First ten minutes has seen QPR all over Spurs

Mackie is tearing Assou Ekotto apart so far.

Awful goalkeeping. Nice goal though, but Friedel was very slow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,778 ✭✭✭Big Pussy Bonpensiero

    This is pathetic..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

This is truly dire from Spurs, they don't even look like they're getting back into this.

QPR ............ WE ARE THE GIANTKILLERS! And WE ARE STAYING UP.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Scott Parker has been atrocious, keeps running into opposition players or trying Hollywood through balls.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,994 ✭✭✭KingdomYid

This Spurs team is gone, there is no way they will just turn it on all of a sudden. They might aswell go on holidays now, bloody pathetic.

As soon as the England manager talk started Spurs form pivoted :( Sad to see really, can't see them in the top 4 if they loose this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,446 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

This whole Redknapp/England manager thing is clearly affecting the whole team. They need to get that sorted out one way or another and then they can get back to what they were doing before it all came up. Since Redknapp became clear favourite for the job I think they've won 3 games out of 12 or something like that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

Yep, Harry should have just walked as soon as a new manager could have been found.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,206 ✭✭✭✭amiable

Jamie Mackie is an inspiration IMO.

From Lower league(and non league) journey man to playing well through sheer effort in the Premier League.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,973 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

That was a sore one for Bale

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 25,953 ✭✭✭✭kryogen

Meh, it was always going to be incredibly difficult for Spurs to keep up the performances they were turning in early season all the way through, the Harry to England talk is a nice convenient excuse imo, it has been a factor I believe but not a big one.

The court case must have been a factor too

Have to say QPR and their psychological games have been brillant.

Defoe has been awful, I think they should bring on Giovani and I'm not expecting him to light it up either.

El Classico about to start, what to do?

Same predicament here. Hopefully QPR score a second and the decision should be easier

    WTF??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

    Red for Taarabt.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,148 ✭✭✭✭Raskolnikov

That was funny, QPR fans not giving the ball back to Bale :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,462 ✭✭✭✭WoollyRedHat

****ing hell, Bale heading into crowd, as QPR fansrefused to hand ball back

Between that and the referee forgetting he had booked Taarbt already, been more exciting than the actual match.

Those QPR are a noisy bunch

This game makes football supporters look really bad.....all just screaming abuse at players...even kids ffs!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 39,446 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

    Red for Taarabt.
Clattenberg is one of the better referees imo so I can only conclude that Taarabt is an idiot. His team up by a goal and he goes and does that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

How many reds for QPR this season ? I suppose if they had to lose 1 player, needing to hold on for 15 minutes, it would be him.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

Why did Taarabt get sent off?

Noticed that. Terrible parents imo to be shouting such abuse in front of their kids.

Can't see Bale wanting to hang around for next season on the basis of this recent form from Spurs.

Not sure, it was a second yellow though and it took a while for the ref to notice that he'd already booked him.

2nd yellow for kicking the ball away

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,462 ✭✭✭✭WoollyRedHat

I wonder if he remembered he had given him a yellow already, would he have been so quick to brandish another.

Truly brutal form Spurs, outplayed and outfought. Fair play to QPR though, they really showed bottle this evening.

Noisy? Wait 'til we're in Europe in 2014. Weyhey!

Amazing to think that Spurs were being talked about as title contenders.

Slump in form is shocking, will it affect 'Arry getting the England job (not that I believe that is responsible for Spurs problems.)

    Shocking result for Spurs

Not saying he isn't a good player but the guy is waaaaay overrated imo.
