Getting Back ON Jobseekers/Rent Allowance

I am currently claiming jobseekers allowance and also rent allowance. I have been told that I may be offered a months work in the near future. My question is that if I sign off for that month will it take me long to get my jobseekers payment back when the month is finished and also will I have to re-apply for rent…
