One of two sky magic eye locations not working

    Hi,
I've done a search and don't think my specific query has been answered before, apologies if it has! I have 2 magic eyes in my house, one upstairs and one in the kitchen. After an overhead thunder/lightening show last Sunday morning my kitchen magic eye stopped working. The one in the bedroom still works fine. I brought the one from upstairs down to test it and it doesn't work in the kitchen. I have turned the RF power to off on the sky+ box, turned off the box then turned the RF power back on again and still no joy. The red power led light on the magic eyes don't turn on when they're downstairs. (and the downstairs magic eye won't work upstairs, so it may be dead). I still have perfect sky reception on the kitchen TV, I just have to walk into the sitting room to change channels (good exercise I know!).

    Can anyone help?
    Thank you,
    Casher

Sounds like one Sky eye is dead, and another thing is stopping the power getting to the same location.

What is splitting the RF2 to the two rooms, can your swap where it is split. Have you a special booster for splitting it. It looks as if some splitter/booster is faulty and not letting power through.
