    Recently seen an all weather pitch setup in I think it's st marks secondary school it's behind nutgrove shopping centre in Dublin!!!

    All I can say is it's a class set up!!! Have any of you played regular GAA hurling or football on this kind of surface?? How does it play and what are your opinions? We have all played 5 a side on astro but was wondering how surface faired with our national games??

    I find them a good idea, but one problem I have (with the ones i'm used to playing on anyway ) is how they absolutely butcher your knees when you fall on them.

    Not sure if much can be done about this though but still retain the grass-like properties of it.

    Hate the idea?
    Not good enough for top clas intercounty action but defo good for lower tier counties hurling. A true surface without the much and sh*t you get at some county grounds.
