Clear plastic sheeting

    Hi,
Would anybody know where I could get some clear plastic sheeting? Not rigid sheets, something like a dush sheet, but it needs to be thick/heavy duty. And I'm looking for a large sheet, say 9 square meters. I'm in North Dublin.
Have tried google but no joy.
    Thanks for any help!

You mean simple standard 1000 or 1200 guage plastic, which can be bought in rolls, cheaply, at any builders providers??;)

Well that's easy for you to say! :)
Thanks a lot. But would they come in sheets 9 meters wide x 9 meters long? Could only find references online to rolls 2 meters wide. That gauge would be great. Any idea of cost? As you can tell I'm clueless.
    Cheers

Unless its some sort of a pre-cut folded sheet you are looking for you certainly wont get anything in a roll thats 9m wide.

Edit: What do you need it for?

Thanks. It's for a DIY greenhouse/polytunnel. Built one last year and used UV resistant horticultural polythene, cost me 130 for 9 mt x 11 mt. Looking to make a second smaller one but on a much tighter budget. Best width I can find is 4 meters which is too narrow.
    But thanks for the reply.

Given it's DIY and you know you wont get the quality of the UV sheeting, can you not just get the 1000g 4m wide roll, cut lenght to suit bay frame diameter, and lap joint the polythene with double sided tape to make "sealed" joints.

Probably better solutions from the folk in a gardening forum tbh... We'll only advise how to make sure it reaches PH standard, not breach planning regs, Part L compliancy and wont discuss the pouring of the concrete for the frame as it's an engineers job not to mention the value of the certifyers signature:D:D:D:D

    Dermot Gavin I certanily aint:D

Cheers Rayjdav. I'll have to stretch it drum-tight over the frame to take strong wind so I don't think tape would hold. But if all else fails I might go down that road. They do sell super-strong tunnel repair tape, but at 25 euro a roll ...
