    Hi there,

We wouldn't stock any all in one systems that would do 7.1, I have never came across any either. We do stock 5.1 all in one systems though.

We do have a nice deal on this amp and blu-ray:
    http://www.richersounds.com/package/home-cinema/av-receivers/pah01301

921 is a great amp and will give you 7.1 surround sound. Also DLNA certified and 4 HDMI in and 1 out.

For a matching speaker pack check out the Boston Soundware XS SE for just £219.95. Great speaker pack and will sound great with the 921.

Let me know what you think.

Which Sony had you been looking at as at the moment we only have the 5.1 all in one system that we can supply:

    Sony BDVE280 priced at £199.95
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/1-box-home-cinema-systems/sony/bdve280-mr/sony-bdve280-mr

    Sony BDVE380 priced at £244.95
    http://www.richersounds.com/product/1-box-home-cinema-systems/sony/bdve380/sony-bdve380

Let me know if either of these units would suit :)

Don't rule out the Panasonic SC-BTT370.

Havn't listened to it yet (and not really into 1 box systems) but want to order one and it did win What Hi-Fi 2011 awards....

    Hi Tony.

Unfortunately the 370 Panasonic system is a finished line for us now and we will not be getting any more in.

Panasonic are changing some models at the minute and I am waiting to see what the new models offer and at what price.

Would you not consider going for a different system that may not be as compact but has much better sound and connections as these 5.1 systems are limited in terms of connections.

I have a great deal on the Denon DHT1312 which is a 5.1 system with an active subwoofer and it comes in at £279.95. Add a blu ray to this for around £70 and you would have a system which would wipe the floor with the Panasonic in terms of sound, connections and future proofing.

Alternatively we can wait and see what Panasonic come out with or we have the Sony options.

Let me know what you think.

    Hi Dave
Long time no see.... How's Macker?

Anyway. I want to get a one box system for the in-laws, they just bought themselves a Sony Bravia KDL40EX723 (I think) and now they want surround sound without all the boxes and the big speakers..... .... so maybe a Sony option may be the way to go e.g. compatibility etc..

What other Sony one box systems can you get yor hands on?
The only other device that will be plugged into it may be a UPC HD box.

    Thanks

Hey Tony. Long time, no see. Hows tricks ?

Jmc is doing well. He's on here most days, so you'll see him posting, but he's always busy so doesn't get on as much as he used to.

We tend to specialise in sound quality as you know, but if you are looking at a better value system, then you could look at the Sony BDVE380 which is £244.95 or the Panasonic SCBTT920.

The Panasonic is a much better sounding system than the Sony although they may not make use of all the features on it. If they are looking for a nice system, that Pana is a cracker.

Take a look and let me know what you think.

    Thanks Dave

After looking up the spec of the Panasonic SCBTT290 it seems to be the one to go for. Lets hope they like it 'cos they where listening to my Arcam/monitor audio/marantz system the other day..... but I did explain the difference in price :D

Will give you a buzz in the shop tomorrow (Friday)

    Hi Culture,

Main difference is the tall boy speakers on the 490 over the smaller speakers on the 380. :)

We've got the 380 out in the store, aint got a chance to get it hooked up yet. Being the new version of the 280 then I'm expecting big things. :)

We've got these in stock if you're interested.

    Hi again,

Had a look upstairs and we only have a multi-region here at the moment priced at £199.95.

Delivery is just £12.99 so a total of £212.94 for the MR. :)

I should be able to get you a non mult-region delivered from our warehouse. This would cost £192.94 delivered.

Let me know what ya think.

    Chris

    Hi Guys.

Thanks for sending down the Panasonic SCBTT-290.

Straight out of the box it sounded impressive and an excellent BD picture. The iPod dock is a very good feature and is fully controlled with the remote listing all the music etc in the TV screen by Artist/Album/Genre. With Wi-Fi built in I had it online in seconds and showing the in-laws how everything worked (brownie points for me). So far I can't fault it. It also loads a hell of a lot quicker than my Panasonic DMP-BD35 :-/

Thanks for the fantastic service (as usual)

    Maulikdesai1,

Thanks for the post and apologies for the delay getting back to you - we have literally no 7.1 Av packaged systems - the closest we have is the LG BH9520 9.1 system with tower speakers at £699.95 / €889.99

    showimage.php?image=309809.jpg&max_width=300&max_height=260

However we would ALWAYS recommend that if yuo are thinking of building a system you would gradually build it us based on a separate AV receiver and matching your Blu-ray & speakers possibly from a different brand - if this something you would be interested in - if so I can suggest some alternatives for you?

On the Bookshelf or Tower speakers - can you give me some idea of your ideal pricing per pair and again I'll revert asap,

    Thanks again,

    ATVB,

    John Mc

Thanks for coming bak on this. I had thought of building a 7.1 from scratch but thought it would be too much of hassle. I wouldn't mind if u recommend going for a seperate receiver and speakers. Can extend my budget upto 800-900 euros if there is any good deal.
