A woman has been arrested after a shop dummy was entered as a candidate for the council elections in Aberdeen.
The mannequin - which it understood to have been seized by police - originally appeared on the list of potential councillors for the Hazlehead, Ashley and Queens Cross ward.

Would that dummy win in an election here? :pac:

If this were the 80's this would have been made into a wacky comedy by now.

    Possibly starring Tom Hanks, too.

Why on earth did the seize the dummy?
Was it a danger to the public or attacking them?
    Bizzare but funny!

A dummy wouldn't bring in property and water tax, so it'd doing less harm than the current crowd if it got elected

A dummy would have done it a long time ago. Like every other civilised country in the world.
Dummy would be a step up from our local boyos.
