    Given he's an AGer, 9.02 for IMAT and 9.13 for Kona is not too shabby...

    I think he means that 9.02 was his first effort at the distance... Knowing how hard Matt trains, I think he will be threating the record in Roth!

    Yup, great times but I don't think they are near his potential. I presume he is racing IM again this year? From what I recall last year his bike was not very well paced, much quicker first lap.

    Problem with that is Roth is Ironman distance..............

    I thought it and IMde were the only really accurate ones?

    We can do what we like on IMAT :)

    It is marginal for Roth - 178km and 41km from the Garmin (if that can be described as accurate) if I recall.

    However, given it is a "record" course, like IMAT, there must be internal pressure to bring the distances down to the lower end max variance allowed?
