I enjoy my glass or three in the evening, to relax, unwind, catch up on TV. Problem is, my husband keeps coming into sittingroom to see if I'm going to bed, will he turn lights off, etc. It's doing my head in, he gets up from bed and practically dances around the kitchen pretending to be looking for something, do I want the lights out Etc etc. He makes me so mad, I want to drink more.
Is there any other frustrated wives out there suffering the same. Please don't think he's ignored, I took him to dinner tonight and he spent the entire time outside talking on the phone. Would you blame me for looking at tv after hours?

Your husband asked if you are going to bed or if you wanted the lights off?

    What a monster

How many glasses have you had op? :)

Sounds like you just feel a bit smothered atm, I'd go nuts if I had someone wandering around my home like my mother when I was trying to chill after a day's work or something. But then it is my home and I don't have to share it with anyone. Maybe you should find a hobby or something to do by yourself outside the house when you want some freetime. Or build him a mancave.

... and in the cold light of day... Not a ladies lounge type thread. If it's a real issue for you, the Personal Issues forum may be your best bet.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.
