Is S1 of Luck worth watching?

    I know there is thread for Luck already but don't want to see any spoilers.
    I watched the first episode & liked it, so recorded it as it was airing on Sky Atlantic. Have all 9 episodes ready to go now but just seen that it's been cancelled.

    S1 was shot when they were expecting a 2nd season, wasn't it?
    So is there a proper ending to S1? Is it still worth watching?

    It's a great show but S1 sets things up for S2 which, as we know, isn't happening. Look though, you won't be wasting your time watching it. It's fantastic.

    I hate this idea of 'oh well, there mightn't be a proper ending..'. Every TV show is 95% about the journey, the ending is incidental.

    If you like the premise of it, watch it. If not, don't. There's nothing more to this decision and nothing anyone else can tell you that you don't already know.
